Kane is one of those dogs that is just fun to own. He was bred by myself out of of my first test litter with Caesar and my previous dog Davina (who now lives the best retired life with my ex-husband). Getting to watch him grow into the dog he is today has been incredibly special- I knew he was mine the second he opened his eyes, and he really is the best of both worlds. When it’s time to work, Kane is confident, willing, and always ready to do something. He has done everything from bitework and dock diving to lure coursing and even professional film work. He’s the kind of dog you can take somewhere, ask him to work, and know he’s going to give you his all. But as much as Kane loves to work, he’s also a complete goofball. At home he’s affectionate, silly, great with the family and kids, and just genuinely enjoyable to live with. He has a big personality and keeps me laughing constantly. Quite literally, the definition of a shadow and one that is also able to exist peacefully in the house. One of my favorite things about Kane is how easily he can go from working to just being a normal dog. He doesn’t need to be “on” all the time. He can bring the intensity when it’s needed and then come home, settle down, and be part of the family. Being able to bring a dog that we bred back in to FuryHaus means a lot to me. I know where Kane came from, I’ve been able to watch what he has grown into, and I’m proud of the dog he is today.
He’s handsome, talented, occasionally ridiculous, and very much himself. I wouldn’t have him any other way.
