About Our Puppies

and how they're raised

Here at Furyhaus, our puppies are family from day one. They’re born and raised in our home, right in the middle of daily life, surrounded by the sounds, smells, and routines of a busy household. They grow up alongside our other dogs—big and small—as well as our cats, learning how to interact with different animals in a natural, respectful way.

We take breeding seriously, which is why all of our parent dogs are fully health and genetic tested through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Our goal is to produce strong, healthy puppies who not only meet the German Shepherd breed standard but also thrive in their new homes—whether that’s as a loyal companion, a working partner, or a sport prospect. From an early age, our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), which help them develop resilience, adaptability, and confidence. We also follow the Puppy Culture program, exposing them to new sights, sounds, and experiences in a way that builds their problem-solving skills and trust in humans. We put a big emphasis on early training and socialization. By the time they leave for their new homes, they’ve already been started on potty training, crate training, and basic manners. They’ve had positive experiences with car rides, grooming, vet visits, and plenty of handling, making their transition into new homes much easier.

Beyond household life, our puppies also get to experience the great outdoors! They’re exposed to farm animals like pigs, goats, and horses on our own little farm, in turn helping them learn to stay calm and confident in new environments.

Most importantly, our puppies are raised with love and hands-on care every single day. They get to meet new people, explore different places, and build a foundation that helps them grow into stable, well-rounded dogs. When they leave our home, they aren’t just "puppies"—they're ready for whatever life has in store.

If you’re looking for a well-raised, healthy German Shepherd puppy with a great start in life, we’d love to help you find the perfect match!

What To Expect

(Time to Go Home!)

When one of our puppies leaves for their new home, they don’t just go with a quick goodbye and a pat on the head. They leave with everything they need to make the transition as smooth as possible—and with a lifetime of support from us.

Each puppy comes with their AKC registration paperwork, a microchip for safety, and a personalized binder packed with health records, feeding guidelines, training tips, and other important info to help set you and your new pup up for success. To make things even easier, we send them home with a bag of their current food, some of their favorite toys, high-quality treats, and a cozy blankie that smells like their mom and littermates, giving them a little extra comfort as they settle in. They’ll also have a supply of probiotics and supplements to keep their tummies happy during the transition.

But more than that, when you bring home one of our puppies, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re gaining a family. We love keeping in touch, getting updates, and watching our puppies grow. Whether you have questions, need advice, or just want to share cute photos (which we will always appreciate!), we’re here. We even have our very own 'alumni' Facebook group for all of our lucky families. You mean the world to us, and we’re in this for life!
