Imported from Belarus, Thalia is our foundation female and truly the dog I could not have dreamed up any better if I tried. "Cool, calm and collected" is probably the best way I could ever describe her. Thalia has never met a stranger and genuinely loves everyone she meets, unless you're an actual threat. She is incredibly stable, confident and easygoing, and she is a dog I would trust around any human or animal. Kids especially hold a very special place in her heart. She absolutely adores them and will soak up every ounce of attention they're willing to give her. Most of the time, Thalia is perfectly content just being with her people. She loves affection, lives to please, and has a goofy side that comes out constantly at home. She's sensitive enough that she genuinely wants to do right by you and doesn't need a heavy hand, but don't mistake her sweetness for softness; when it's time to work, that calm dog can disappear in an instant.

Flip the switch and Thalia explodes into drive. She brings intensity, power and enthusiasm to her work, then can turn around and go right back to being the stable, easygoing dog we live with every day. That ability to have real working ability without needing to live her entire life "on" is one of the things I admire most about her.

Thalia really is a true testament to what I believe the German Shepherd should be. She's beautiful and structurally sound, has the health behind her that I want in my program, possesses genuine working ability, and above all else has an incredible temperament. Those qualities are exactly why I chose her to become the foundation of FuryHaus. Starting a breeding program means deciding what qualities you want to preserve for generations to come, and I genuinely could not have found a better female to start ours with. Seeing pieces of Thalia come through in her puppies has only made me appreciate her more. She gives us the entire package: health, temperament, working ability, conformation, and a personality that makes her an absolute joy to live with. We are incredibly honored to have a dog like Thalia as the foundation behind FuryHaus, and I don't think I could ever fully put into words how much this girl means to me.
